Ingredients
- 2 filet mignon steaks (6-8 oz each)

Instructions
Season the filet mignon steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the filet mignon steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest while preparing the sauce.
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and butter. Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine with the garlic and shrimp. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
Return the filet mignon steaks to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the top. Let them warm through for about a minute.
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
