Background and History
Chicken Alfredo is a beloved Italian-American dish that gained popularity in the United States in the early 20th century. Originating from Rome, the original dish, Fettuccine Alfredo, consisted of fettuccine noodles tossed with butter and Parmesan cheese. Over time, variations including chicken were introduced, creating the creamy and indulgent Chicken Alfredo we know today.
